The "Plage des Six-Pompes" is the largest arts gathering on Swiss territory: it attracts almost 60,000 visitors over six days, with no less than thirty performing groups and over two hundred volunteers. The "Beach" is, first and foremost, a convivial venue: six days of entertainment financed entirely by voluntary contributions, breathing new life into the historic town centre of La Chaux-de-Fonds, and a meeting place for people from all over the region and beyond.
